Bio

Prescott is currently the CEO of Vital Business Media and Publisher of Vital's first publication, eMedia Vitals.

Shibles was named to min's 2007 digital hot list for his innovative work as VP of Penton Media. From 2003 until 2007, Prescott helped turn around the online efforts of PRIMEDIA Business Magazines and Media (later renamed Prism Business Media), growing revenues from less than $4 million to over $20 million. During that time, he was responsible for the Web development, online sales development, and audience development of over 125 Web brands.

Before joining the ranks of the publishing world, Prescott honed his online skills at About.com, where he worked as an editor. During that time, he not only honed his content strategy skills but learned from search engine optimization (SEO) master guru Marshall Simmonds.

Vital Business Media is Prescott's second entrepreneurial venture; he became the world's youngest Haagen-Dazs franchisee in 1993 at age 17.
